Now is the time to get your Snow images in

I don't like a bunch of pavement below your Ram, we all want to see your Rams tires & a bit of pavement, lets see some back ground,, unless your Ram is buried in mud or snow & then we want the whole picture

Remember they will take 2 images for the calendar, if i remember correctly, you can ask the MODS to remove one if you have one that is better towards the end of the year

I have a questions. I'm going to have some pictures taken(by my sister in law) and I sent her the rules, and she had some cool ideas that technically don't break the rules, although I don't know that they follow the intent of the rules. She apparently has some great equipment, and although I don't fully understand how it works, she has a camera that can take a picture like this(and it's not photoshop):

http://i1133.photobucket.com/albums/...rksEffects.jpg

The way I understand it from her description is that the camera takes the picture over a 30 second time frame. The people(or truck, or whatever) in the picture don't move the entire 30 seconds, and someone runs around with a sparkler firework for like 25 seconds and then exits the frame. The camera records only the light from the first say 29 seconds then takes the still picture at the end and combines it. Or something like that....

I don't think this follows the intent of the rules, but she wants to do it so I wanted to ask.....

Wow, that is a neat pic! That's camera technology I haven't seen before so I'm not familiar but sure looks awesome! We just ask for as natural a pic as possible, something that hasn't been altered or appear to have been. That way, it's fair to everyone but also encourages people to really get out there and take some great pics of their truck. :)

I'm gonna say it's against the rules then.....it's not really "natural"...

Thanks.

too bad that i didn't get a shot of the eclipse 2 weeks ago
there is a hill that i could have parked on, with the eclipse just above it

or something like a picture of
Firefall (Horse Tail Falls), Yosemite National Park, when the sun reflects off the waterfall, with the Ram facing away from it
It looks like LAVA falling from the mountain

or go to the Crazy Horse Mountain carving

hmm I may need to go patriotic and hit up MT Rushmore or crazy horse, its in the.neighborhood.

Cajun, my question is...

in the rules we post up two pictures, then a later rule down the line says if picked must provide a high res photo within one week.

Now is that going to be a whole new picture, or the one originally submitted? Its confusing how it's worded, wouldn't make sense to submit a whole new picture. maybe I'm just reading too much into it...
