Questions about lifting my 04 1500 hemi

Hey guys recently I have been looking into getting a lift kit for my truck. I am looking for a good quality, durable, reasonably priced 6"kit. I have looked into a BDS 6" kit that provides a high clearance kit(what I need) and a lifetime warranty but the price is soooo high! I have also recently read a thread on here about the RCX 4-5" kit performing very well but how much of a difference will i notice with the 4-5" over the 6" kit? Over all I am looking for multiple opinions because I have never put a lift kit on my truck before. If yall have the either kit I'd love to hear about your experience(pictures are great too) another thing I have been looking into and hearing a lot about are bilsteins 5100 shocks that are adjustable to give u an added 2.8"? Is this legit? Would the bilsteins be better than the nitro shock I get with the kit?
I know it's a lot of questions, but I really appreciate the responses.
Thanks, -NWHemi149-

I can't answer your lift questions but I can answer your questions about the Bilsteins. Yes, they are legit and can give up to 2.8" of lift on the fourth gens and 2.1" on the third gens. Problem for you is that they are only for the 2006-up trucks with the coilover front suspension. They will not work on the 2005 and older trucks with the torsion bar suspension.
