Curb Weight

Hello to all fellow members! I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 8-Foot (Extended) bed with the 5.9L V-8. I would love to know how much my pickup weighs. I don't have an owners manual and I can't seem to find it anywhere else on the net. Please help me fellas.

Go to your local transfer station where your city or town garbage goes an they almost always will weigh it for free. Good luck.

I don't think you would find it in an owner's manual anyway. Here you go....believe this will help you.

If I input any of the details of your truck wrong just click the "start over with new vehicle" link.

My 2003 is 5280 lbs with a little over a quarter tank.

Hmm..., so I'm guessing it should be at least 5,000lbs without any passengers and fuel in it?

No, because you have a quad cab LONG bed, it should weight MORE than my quad cab SHORT bed...

Did you click on the link? It says 5481 pounds for your truck.

I have kind of a weird number for mine because I had to weigh it for a military move, that was as it sat on a truck stop scale.

I weigh in and out every week for the dump and with me in it and my 50lb dog i weigh out at 6000 each time. Im 250 so combined with the dog id say with my 4wd quad cab short bed im at 5700lb give or take.

Hope this helps
