New project!

Just picked up another toy, found a 1990 D150 single cab short bed! Rust free Tennessee truck. Bought it with no engine, because my dad found me a 1969 383 Magnum for $650. It's been punched out, has a cam, steel crank and ported 906 heads! Also came with a built 727! Working on the swap, will post up pics ASAP!

Any idea what size wheel tire combo will fit if I lower it?

383's rev like small blocks (short stroke for a big block). A little extra gear will work better since it doesn't have the torque of a 440 (unless you decide to drop a 440 crank into the 383 block...)

Looking forward to seeing some pics if you get a chance.......

just remember when it is up and running, the steering wasn't nearly as good as ours. it will drive like a truck. lol nice find.

Got her running this weekend! I'll post a video of her running with open headers ASAP! The engine is healthy!! Just picked up a 8.75 Sure Grip with 3:55's to help wake it up. I'll post some pics & the video tonight!
