Grille Options???

First post and I just joined a few weeks ago. I've got the mineral gray 2010 quad cab and absolutely love it. Started dressing her up a bit and would like some thoughts on making the grille look a little less....stock. I love the RBP stuff but not for 1500 a pop. I've got a nice little black and gray scheme going with the truck and am trying to stick with it and keep it looking clean.
Any thoughts or things you've wanted to try but haven't yet??
(PS as soon as I get her sitting straight on better rubber I probably will pick up a set of smoked recons for the front if that gives any inspiration.)

Mods so far.
Bedliner.
Flowmaster 50 dual mufflers.
Magnaflow Y pipe.
K&N drop in.
BBk 85mm throttle body.
89 tune.
Bully side steps.
Terra Grapplers coming in next month!!!
2 in leveling in mid June.

The simplest thing to do would be to paint your grill. I know there are several threads about doing just that if you do a search I'm sure you'll find lots to help you out.

You could also replace it with an aftermarket grill, check out some of our supporting vendors, I'm sure you'll be able to find something that you like.

I think a few members have even gone the Plasti Dipp route.. not sure if that is for you...

Maybe check out the CARID website, they have great selection of grilles
If you spot one that you like, shop around for better prices on that particular product

E-bay has some stuff too. Painting is probably the quickest and easiest option. However, once its painted, if you don't like it, or want something more custom, you may have a hard time selling your original grille for upgrade cash. Just something to consider...

Curious about the plasti dipp and how well that lasts.... I'll do a search on it and learn a little more.

I plastidipped my grill a month and a half ago and it's held up well so far. It's prime bug season apparently and it's been getting pelted since I did it. Haven't ran it through an automatic car wash yet just because the last time I went though one of those my ps mirror got ripped off.

Everything comes apart just need to patience with the little plastic tabs. I painted just the outter part and cross section. Left the honeycombs chrome to sperate it a bit. Also painted the background of my Ram head to match my truck.

the only Chrome on my ST is the grill (other than my rims).....you would think base model they would just put black....did the "build your own" for a 2012 ST and it comes with a black grill. I'll look into all that when I get back stateside
