thinking about getting exhaust

Been thinking about get a muffler or cat back system. Any recommendations for one. I have a 2009 qc with the 4.7l and want one that sounds good but not obnoxious at highway speeds.

Dynomax ultra flow. Dont waste your money on a catback system. Just buy a decent muffler and have your local shop put it on.

I highly recommend Magnaflow. I replaced the Flowmaster Super 44 with an 18" Magnaflow on my old 2006 4.7L and saw a slight increase in MPG and bottom end pull. Plus, it was quieter at cruising speeds and in my opinion sounded better all the time. I haven't done too much research on the Dynomax Ultrafllow but I hear that they are very similar to the Magnaflow.

Also, catbacks are nice if money simply isn't an issue but I agree with bigredtruck...a simple muffler only swap is just as efficient for a small fraction of the cost. Then slap on a nice stainless steel tip (or two if you go single in/dual out).

I agree do the muffler only. Magnaflow is great, dynomax is good, any straight through type really... The more volume the muffler has the quieter it will be. You'd probably want an 18"-22" or so.

I put flowmaster 44 muffler on my truck, just love the sound, it roars threw town but on the highway if your going over 1500 rpm your gunna hear it. But like everyone else i reommend just the muffler and if you want two tips just but the dual out muffler :)
