voiding a warranty

good evening... i know this has been asked before but i couldn't find it... will replacing the stock oem muffler with a louder flowmaster void the warranty and also installing hid's in the head and fog lights do the same???

(sidebar) got the hid's installed and whenever they switch on a light on the dash comes on then goes off after they completely turned on. meaning after they warm up and get the full glow... what is that???

Replacing the muffler will not "void your warranty". You may loose warranty coverage for any component after the new muffler. If the lights you installed cause failures with wiring or other warranty covered parts the claim may be denied. The test will be 'did the failure occur as a direct result of the aftermarket part'.

The light that comes on on your dash is for the TMPS sensor. I have yet to hear of a Ram that does not do that. Weve pretty much chalked it up to the ballast creating interference with the radio signal from the sensors to the PCM when they first fire up. You not alone in that and eventually youll forget it happens
