St. Louis Route 66 Cruise, Sunday May 20th
Thought I would drop in again to get the word out on another event in St Louis. A few of us over at GPMM (Great PlainZ MOdern Mopars) thought it would be fun to put together a Sunday Route 66 Cruise.
On Sunday, May 20th starting at 9:45am we have planned a fun filled cruise!
We hope to enjoy a little bit of the mother road's heritage in the St Louis area. We would absolutely love to have anyone join that is interested! All makes models and years are welcome. The main post tracking the event is located here: http://www.gpmm.org/showthread.php?p=57228#post57228
The plan includes an early lunch at Fritz's, a local soda microbrewery, and they seem to have a nice menu!
** 9:45a -- Meet at Chain of Rock Bridge for pictures and whatnot
** 10:30a -- (11.5 miles, 30 min) Leave for a short drive down to Fritz's
** 11:00a -- Lunch at Fritz's
** 12:30p -- (3.5 miles, 15 min) Short drive to Maplewood Route 66 Sidewalk, Kakao Chocolates, and photo ops
** 1:15p -- (3.5 miles, 10 min) Drive to Ted Drewes
** 2:00p -- (17.5 miles, 30 min) Drive to Route 66 State Park, previously known as Times Beach!
** 2:30p -- photo op and goodbyes at Route 66 State Park

It would be cool to do this. Damn wish I didn't live so far away. :i_rolleyes:
Wish you could make it. I see you have one of the Express trucks! Those are awesome. One of my favorite episodes of Gearz was on the Express!
This would be fun, I would make it if it weren't an 8 hour drive, I'm a member over on GPMM, I can vouch.. they are a good group of guys.
