dry shot jettingwell i decided

Well I decided to throw my compucar bag kit on my truck tht I had laying around from my mustang. Google it if you've never seen it. Its kinda like a sneaky pete but better. Anyways I'm wondering what do most guys run for like a 75 shot. I don't wanna run much bigger on stock tune. I'm using a a 52 size. Right now went for a test pull felt pretty strong but think it needs a little more.

Believe on a stock motor with no tune available and no colder plugs 75 is as big as u want to go. Why a dry shot instead of wet if u dont mind me asking?

Ill eventually get a wet kit. I do alot of street racing and I already had this kit so im not goin to spend the money to buy a wet kit when i dont even have a cai/exh much less a tune. Kinda pointless..still kinda poinless to have this kit on now but its works great ive used it alot. Noone can tell you have it on. Just one line running to your intake thts it. I know colder plugs, and etc etc but im wondering about jet size. i have a 59 size jet in now so im thinking thts ruffly abt a 50 shot maybe more. Compucar and other nx companies have said upwars of a 7x size jet but tht seems a little high..So is their anyone tht has put a dry kit on their truck and know jet size?? And here is a pic of the kit

Honestly, a dry kit is not safe on a motor with out a MAF sensor; our vehicles can not add fuel based on the colder intake tamperatures. None of the nitrous kit suppliers will be releasing a dry kit for our vehicle because they are so very dangerous on our engines.

i've seen guys run 150 shots (wet) on stock blocks safely(I do on my stock block 5.7) so i would think a 100 or 125 would be ok...and yes, much safer to go wet..

Exactly what I was thinking when I asked that question! Good info guys! I understand u already have the kit and such but it is just not very safe for the dry shot. And besides, if u never pop ur hood, they will never know!

This is where the saying "pill it till ya kill it comes from"

I wouldnt go anywhere above a 75 shot till I had something to add fuel with it, your asking for trouble...

Thanks guys. Being speed density was my only worry about runnin a dry shot. I prob wont use it but a couple times so im sure itll be ok with the small shot. I didnt hear any detonation but you never know without a wideband. Well i guess ill let ya guys know if she goes or blows next time at the track.
