2011 LongHorn MPG

Well as of today, I've had my 2011 Laramie LongHorn for 9 months and my average MPG is 15.3. That is a combination of higway and city. I'm guessing this about average for a HEMI. I'm running AMSOIL 0W-20 full synthetic, the AMSOIL Ea Air Filter and AMSOIL rear diff fluid. Was actually hoping to see between 16 and 17 for an average, but as I've heard so many times, we didn't buy these trucks for gas mileage.
This ethanol mixture at the pumps is killing the MPG, bottom line.

Just buy the non-ethanol gas. There are several in Jax.....I used to live there.

Will do MF2000, I'm betting the non-ethanol gas will be rather pricey. If the increase in MPG justifies the higher price per gallon, then I'll be on board with it. Hopefully The price per gallon for 89 non-ethonol will provide me with the average MPG I'm wanting.

Did you notice much of a difference after you switched to the AMSOIL fluids and filters? Why do you run 0W-20 in florida? I thought only ppl up north did that because of the cold weather. I am usually happy when i get anything over 13 mpg in my 11 QC 4x4. Although i mostly do a lot of city driving. I run the signature series AMSOIL 5W-20 and i have the air filter ordered.

Still haven't noticed much MPG gain by switching over to AMSOIL oil, gar oil and EA Air Filter. Also filled up with 89 Ethanol Free Gas at $4.19 a gallon. haven't seen much a big difference in MPG gains. Stuck with 15 average. No more complaining about MPG from me LOL
Guess I'll just stick with Mobil-1 full synthetic from Walmart, 87 Ethanol treated gas, and save my money. :4-dontknow:
