Amp and subwoofer

As we all know, the OEM sub doesn't hit very hard. After trying to sell my old radio out of my old car unsuccessfully, I decided to use the amp and subwoofer for the Ram. So, I ordered a PAC SOEM-T LOC ($15) and an Atrend BBox 12" enclosure ($60). Here are the results. Sounds great and pounds just as good as my old 14"x14" enclosure.

PowerZone Crunch PZA700.2 amp fits perfectly on the floor behind the 40% cushion. Don't even have to lag it down. The cushion snugs right up against it.

PAC SOEM-T line out converter. Still need to trim some speaker wire.

Rockford Fosgate R2D2 12" and Atrend BBox enclosure. Had to rotate the sub as you see it since that was the only way it would sit flush. The 12" is tight and a sub with a larger footprint will not fit.

Grills leave marks on the underside of the cushion. No biggy.

Nice work, cool setup, where did you pick it up the bbox from?

Got it from Amazon.

Looking good... seat closes ok

Looking good. This gives me hope now. I have a JL Audio XD 600/1 amp and a JL Audio 13TW5 sub that only needs a mounting depth of 2" to be sufficient.

So I think I will head on over to Amazon now.

Edit: searched Amazon and no luck with finding the box for a 2012 CC. Can you provide a link to yours please.

Thanks

Yes, seat closes fine.

Here is the link to the current ad on Amazon. It's not the same seller.

You can also get more details on the box at www.atrendusa.com

Thanks for the info. You had it shipped here or to a US address? Also where did you mount your amp?

I'm assuming above the storage bin?
Great set up

No, on the floor behind the left rear seat. That is the first picture. The seat cushion is up. Like I said it's just sitting there. When the seat is down it snugs right up against the amp to keep it from moving around.

It is an easy setup to get a lot more thump from the sub if that's what you desire.

I had the box shipped to a US address.
