Bahamas Big Horn!! Hello!!...exhaust?
Hello from Nassau!!

Got my 2011 Big Horn about 2 weeks ago. Great truck!! Going to be snooping about the forum here looking at what people have been doing on the tweaking side of things.

My first two performance tweaks will likely be a K&N CAI and an exhaust of some sort. Big Horn has a nice grumble to it, but want it just a bit louder.

Any must have...or stay the heck away from, cat back exhausts you all know of? I went onto Borla's site, but they say they do not have one that will fit...still snooping.

Go with the mufflex system....sounds awesome and it is a magnaflow that is a direct fit, easy install.

Mufflex...very the concept of not ditching a perfectly good stainless exhaust...with...stainless...if the muffler just disonnects and bolts back in place like advertized, that's pretty cool.

Thanks for the tip!! Now...just how loud and obnoxious do I want to get!!! LOL

I had a super 40 on mine but, I put subwoofers in my truck so I could barely hear the exhaust even when the music was low. I cut the muffler out and now i turn heads everytime i leave or take off...winning. Neighbors still aren't happy about it though:)
Sweet looking truck though

Hey, I just did a custom cat back install on my 2010 Sport ram where I used a 22” SI/DO Magnaflow 5x11x22 PN#12588 with 2.5” pipe out the rear to 2 4x18 stainless tips deleting the resonators and it sounds amazing! It has a VERY deep tone, but not loud unless you step on it. Plus there is NO drone while cruising. One thing you should take into account is that a larger case muffler has more acoustical dampening in it and it will help reduce interior resonance so you will have less drone in the cab. If you go any smaller (like a 14 or 18" muffler) they have a 4x9" case and will produce a slight drone that you might find irritating when it drops int MDS.

Keep in mind... its all a matter of taste ;)
