Need help choosing exhaust..

I know what i want for the most part, but Ive been searching and cant quite find the info I'm looking for,so i need some help.
I want either 14" or 18" stainless mufflers,5" exhaust tips, and the new Y-Pipe. so i need some input on what mufflers( i don't want obnoxious loud),what exhaust tips, and what y-pipe,and info on where to get them.also if anyone has some pics with 5" dual exhaust tips,i would love to see it.. Thanks for any help

..magnaflow setup...

Go with what I went with. The Magnaflow catback system.
It isnt loud, has a growl, comes with the 5" tips. All you need to get in addition is the y pipe which is $30

Check out nolimitspeed and get Autoanything to match/beat the price and you're laughing
I got mine for $493 shipped

I agree with fastNugly. My friend has the 14” magnaflow on his 2011 ram and is sounds great at idle, cruising, around town or when you step on it. However once you hit the highway between 1800-2000 RPM when the MDS kicks in it gives off a rather annoying sound in the cab... not what I’d call loud but very persistent.

Fortunately he purchased his muffler first which gave me time to change my mind and I am going with a 22” 5x11 inch muffler and deleting the resonators which is the same muffler that comes in the kit. It should be on the truck this Friday and give similar results to the full magnaflow catback system. I would love to go with the full cat back but since I live in Canada the full cat back is WAY too expensive. So take advantage of living in the states and order the cat back, you’ll get awesome sound, no drone, 5” tips and you won’t be disappointed!

Autoanything ships to Canada....even though shipping might cost us, it is still a hell of a lot cheaper buying there....

I called Autoanything and they were super helpful on the phone, no complaints in dealing with them and I would buy from them in a heartbeat if I lived in the states. However living in Northern BC shipping was $188 USD. Then I called the border to see if there were any additional charges and they said it was exempt from duty since Magnaflow is made in the US under the NAFTA but since I live in BC I was subject to BC HST + a 6% "Value added tax" which added another 100ish dollars to my bill (BC stands for Bring Cash for a reason)

I actually ordered my Magnaflow from Canadian Tire and it only cost me a $133.00 My local muffler shop is charging me $150 (2 hours labor)to install it and $250 for 2 4x18 magnaflow tips and stainless 2.5" piping. So my whole system should be around $550ish welded...

However I'd still order the CatBack if It was within reason just for those sexy looking tips you have ;)

Sounds like you got a custom catback similar to purchasing the Maggie catback.
I got mine for $483 shipped to my cousin in the US. I just picked it up this weekend so I saved there.
Yea,I did not want to pay the $188 plus taxes too
I was close to doing the mufflex, but wanted the catback

You went with 4" tips vs 5"

Stock is 4".... Why not just keep those?

Ya man you lucked out! If the OP can get the CatBack for what you paid, its a solid deal.

The local shop Im going to is dumping them for $100 for the set... I figured why not since I cant stand how short the stock tips are on the sport (8 I think) and you can see the stock 2.25 pipe entering the back of the tip on my truck which just looks sloppy... Plus I love it when the Tips disappear under the vehicle, hence the 18" long, it just looks clean from all angles IMO.

PS: I See you live in Toronto, I used to live in Niagara-on-the-Lake and took advantage of the border being close all the time... makes me miss southern Ontario more and more.

Cheers!

Post some pics once completed and installed at diff angles.
Would love to see the set up.

I do like the cross boarder shopping....this mainly includes mods for my cars
