I want one! I hear the fit and finish of S&B intakes are second to none. Plus they look awesome! Gains? prolly negligible...but it looks cool!

Not trying to hijack this thread but how would this intake compare to an airaid intake system for the 2008 hemi ram??

"Looks" to be a better setup especially with the optional ram air scoop, but looks are not everything. LOL

It looks like a great intake and im sure the air is nice and cold! However I would think the airaid would be superior in the sense that it appears that it would get more air into the engine. Im not bashing anything here- just thinking out loud - but i would think that more air(which might be warmer) would be better than less air which is colder....similar to the bfi setup that everyone raves about. Its not exactly a 'cold air' intake but i would think that due to its size the volume of air it takes in is far more superior to an intake that actually recieves cold air such as this? Again I hope no one gets the wrong idea here but I am just curious to see what other peoples thoughts are.

Cheers!

Why do you say the airaid would get more air in? It's nowhere near the size of a BFI . Just wondering.

userj, you have a good point and thats exactly what i think also, the k&n is kinda in the same boat too. one thing i know is they sound ground and more air...so it has to be good. im going to buy one of these S&B ones when they come out for 08's
