94 1500 for $1000 bucks?!

hey guys i found a 94 ram 1500 5.9l for 1000 bucks has a decent amount of rust and needs some tlc like exhaust nothing major and trans has only 1000 miles on it would this be worth it? i would use the parts i need and sell the rest

any input?

Of course! Think of the possibility .... body panels, suspension parts, the drive train, even interior. If your doing some.custom work, you have a spare on hand in case you really fudge something.

i mean its got 194k but still i think its worth it

its actually a 2500

double0ram 06-12-2012 08:51 PM

Yea that's worth it for sure
What engine does it have?

Dodge Boy13 06-12-2012 08:54 PM

360 which runs forever

double0ram 06-12-2012 08:57 PM

Yes. You could rip it out, build it up and run with it. Plus you have everything off the parts ram to make the conversion to the 360.

As I see it, 1000 is a steal. So much is open to you having a spare laying around.

yeah and thats just what hes asking...pick some more shit out bad with it=price drop haha im goin to check it out tomorrow ill let u know how it goes

but a mainly want the 2500 suspension cause i heard it gives a few inches of lift but this one has 200k on it its probably shot

double0ram 06-12-2012 09:43 PM

It may, but at the most the shocks are bad. The leafs in the rear and blocks, will be fine.
