To mud flap or not to mud flap?

Got a newb here.

I have a 2008 1500 Big Horn edition. The truck came without mud flaps but since then I decided to put on a set. I honestly dislike the look of mud flaps but I am wondering about if it's worth to keep for paint protection wise? The truck already has a few chips near the rear tires. Maybe I am too OCD about my paint. Give me some advice!

I also drive on gravel roads at least once a week!

I have rear mudflaps & i like them
if you travel dirt roads, front flaps save what paint is left

yes especially if you travel gravel i would say keep the mud flaps will definitely protect the paint some

I have the Mopar molded mud guards front and rear. Seem to work well protecting the truck.

I am normally not a fan on mud flaps....but my truck I see has a little paint chipping on the front fenders where the 33's have kicked up stones over the years. so I might just get a set for my truck anyhow.

LED mud flaps

My truck currently does not have any mud flaps, but I would like to put some Fire&Ice style on the truck. My question is do they have any that work with the turn signals? Plus I think i would have to buy another set, but without the LED. Don't think it would look right with a set in back but not in front.

I say do mudflaps. A- prevent rocker rash B- courteous for others on the road . More so for reason A. because paint repair cost are pricey
