Mopar Accessory Seat Covers

Installed my Mopar 40/20/40 seat covers today. These are pretty good cotton canvas covers but there are issues. Instructions tell you to soak these in salted cold water to "set the fabric color". Seriously, the fabric should already have the dye set and stabilized, are you listening mother Mopar? So, I followed directions and did so, then I washed in cold water and dried on low heat per the instructions. Using a dryer is not a good thing to do with these. Can't say I wasn't warned (thanks fixitagntoni) on this. So, I shrank them a bit. If you get these you should hang them out to air dry and not use a dryer. At any rate this made them fit pretty damn tight but they still went on. These are an easy install they simply slide on from over the backrest and there is one retaining strap that runs through the cushion gap in back and under the bottom. Note the cutout on the side of the back cushion cover goes to the inboard side of the backrest. The covers won't fit the bottom cushion sides properly if this is oriented to the outside. Center seat cover only covers the seat part, not the backrest. Headrest covers are a very tight fit. Overall I'm happy with them and they will do the job of keeping dirt and mud off of my upholstery. I got these because they are breathable unlike neoprene covers. This is a hot climate and I do not like to stick to the seats. Here is a picture.
