Spray wax
Ok I washed my truck yesterday and it started to get dark out. I bought a bottle of mothers spray wax and wanted to try it out.i sprayed the fender and wiped dry. Stupid me I soaked the drying cloth a couple times and squeezed dried it. I then go and wipe down the whole truck to dry. Well I get up this morning and see residue on my mirrors and the black part of the top of the doors. Do I just rewash the truck to get the residue off?

Do you have a pic?
If you used the same towel to do both, then that's a no no.
You can try a quick wash, and if you still have that white residue left on your plastics, you will need to attack it with all purpose clearner, toothbrush, and some elbow grease.

Ya just a couple squirts on a panel and wipe dry with a microfiber cloth flipping and folding the cloth frequently works for me. I just work on one panel at a time and usually two microfiber cloths will get the whole truck done.

The best advice I can give when using a quick wax, is to apply the wax with one towel and spread it on the panel, and then switch to a dry towel to remove it.

The same goes for cleaning glass, using a detail spray, applying any quick wax, doing a waterless wash, and or using Optimum No Rinse and Shine. Products should be spread/used as directed, and the residues/film removed completely.

I've been using Lucas slick mist speed wax & really like it! It leaves nothing behide & I can do the whole truck in about 15 minutes
