Help please
:4-dontknow:08 ram 3.7L accelorates on its own and has codes p0107 and p0129.

p0129 is low barometric pressure and the other is something about low voltage it also has random missfires on the #3 and #6 cylinders and had it checked out.
i was told its from carbon build up.

my question is would the barometric pressure sensor cause the truck to give itself throttle without touching it and is carbon build up expected with only 100,000 miles? also when the truck gives itself gas the (ETC) light also known as the lightning bolt light comes on and the truck goes into putt putt mode with no power.

thanks for any and all help!

Lots of things can build up at 100,000 miles. This engine might be a good Seafoam candidate. Also do you use synthetic oil or conventional? The ETC code is for your Electronic Throttle Control, which means you have something wrong with your fly-by-wire. TB may have crapped out.

well for starters i bought the truck used and dont know what oil they used but i have only used synthetic myself and i replaced the throttle body last week and it did absolutely nothing ive ran 3 bottles of the lucas cleaner through it (through a vacum hose) that has done nothing to help so far i had my pedal tested and it seems to be fine changed a map sensor because the truck threw the code for it. its been in the shop 4 times in the last month and tomorrow will make 5. does you know what the barometric pressure code is all about? or if it would make the truck rev itself up?

thanks in advance any advice will not be shunned
