So did a little photoshop on my truck to see what the black I want to do will look like. I think it looks pretty good.....

I'm not a fan of the black bumpers on their own. Maybe if you had black rockers as well, but just the bumpers on their own looks odd. You could look into using bedliner on the rockers to color match the bumpers.

eventually the whole truck will be black. I am just doing that for the time being or at least thinking about it.

I think it will look awesome
Heres an ideal
First spray everything with a few coats of plasti-dip then paint
Reason being, it for some reason it turns out that you dont like it, it will all just peel away

well i dont want everything to peel away if a rock chips it or something. what i will do is get new bumpers and grill that are chrome so if i need to replace it i will. that way on the old ones i can just sand down if i mess up.

OK if that works for you
I have plasti-dipped my front bumper, grille and inserts, and rear bumper, and rims
I put enough coats on there where if I get a rock chip it wont show
It looks the same as it did when I first did them
