what to choose?

this is my first V8 so not really sure what to get. i have the 4.7L and the exhaust is rotting out and one of the tips fell off before i bought the truck. im looking for a loud and mean exhaust tone. not sure i want a muffler on it but theres a few vids ive seen and they didnt sound too good IMO with no muffler. i want it to sound deep and throaty. TIA!!

flowmaster super 40s and 44s get a deep loud tone.

If you are just going for "loud" try a Flowmaster Super 44 dumped under the bed. If you want a little better performance, go with a 14" Magnaflow. The Mag is not as loud, but has a good performance tone. Now if you want loud and performance...... get the 14" Magnaflow but put an electric cutout before it. Then you can be loud when you want to be and not as loud when you choose. Here is the cutout on my truck....

Heartthrob is an awesome company. I had one on a Chevy 350 in high school and it sounded great. I'm honestly in the market for one myself lol

I currently have a single 3inch straight pipe angled out before the rear axle and I don't have any issues. High flow cat too. But I have a different engine but I think you'll be ok. It sounds real good that way, a guy I work with did it on his 02 ram with a standard.
