Just bought brakes from Clark!

Haven't got the kit yet, but when I get home and get them on I will do a full review! Clark got me an awesome deal. He was $20 more expensive than his competition, but because of free shipping, he came out $50 cheaper.

He amazed me by STILL honoring the price match of the competition and leaving free shipping intact. Way to save me $70 Clark!:smileup::smileup:

These brakes, plus TLC on my Ram, and I should have no issues hauling that behemoth Bayliner around this fall. Love this place.

So since you have them crusher any squeak at low speed stops or excessive breake dust? I have drilled and slotted on my TA and had light squeak at low speed stops and more brake dust. I was running ebc reds but now the Wagner thermo quiets seem a little less dusty. I like drilled rotoers its the slots that chew my pads up faster and my driving habits. was wondering how this kit was since I haul a trailer once a week at work I would like to upgrade.

 I bought these same Powerstop brake kit for my '07 Ram and installed this Saturday. My first impressions are very good. Only time will tell, but so far they are great and bring my beast to a stop really well! I got mine from Auto Accessories Garage for $383.42 delivered. My old brake pads were really used up and needed a change.

* Plus they look pretty cool too! I realize that mine is a 3rd Gen and not an '09, but these brakes are a good product that I would recomend.

no sqeak at all, ive drove about 800miles now and i have no brake dust on my wheel,.. and i know bevause ive wash my truck today :)

they are cross-drilled ans slotted,.. but warranty for 3 years if i remember right

they also have a tow brake kit,.. not to sure whats the difference but the regular kit does brake harder and faster than the original dodge brakes

when theses upgrade kits are fitted is there a harsher feel to them generally or only when you have to stand on them?

RyanJM 07-10-2012 02:24 AM

I never noticed a difference in the feel on my car and hopefully.my ram will be the same.just faster stopping. Although I wish.I could get a brembo kit like my cobalt as for my Ram those thing will put you though the windshield if you hit them too hard but I don't wanna spend that much.on brakes.

ArmyofOne 07-11-2012 11:33 AM

THe problem with brembo is not the initial cost. Its the cost of replacement pads. The pads dont last long (about a year) and they cost hundreds of dollars a set. I had brembo's on my civic. WAAYYYY too much money for brakes.

crusher 07-12-2012 09:38 AM

when you brake normally they feel just like the original... no harsher feel, no noise just nice stoping,... but when you get hard on them you defenetly feel the difference in brake power,.. maybe not like a complet brembo kit but not far from it,.. and their warranty

my brother has them on his subaru wrx sti,.. very expensive to replace and probably the next time he change them he will put something different,..
