Ram Quicksilver 392 Concept Tested by Motortrend

I'm surprised how slow it actually is..makes me happy and content with my cheaper R/T!

Nice read, very intersting on the final cost if you wanted to build your own SRT, not cheap. I do like the idea of the 7.0L Hemi crate engine (540 HP) sounds very nice now I just have to win the lotto.

Looks great. The colored interior pieces /carbon fiber is nice.

I really like it. I would prefer a quad cab but overall sweet. An it says in the article it wasn't tuned yet so it may be more impressive

i dont like the red mirrors or red grill

that tonneau cover makes the backside for sure. at first I wasnt big on the red, but it grew on me.

Probably the crappy time comes from no traction. Put some good tires on and it would perform alot better

I thought the real point of article was to talk about the 6.4L performance in a Ram truck. Is it enough to be considered a SRT. 0 to 60mph in 5.2s seems like a good start.

"Slow"... Not sure how "Fast" the RT is but I owned an 11 and read reveral posts of 14.7 - 14.3.... To gain a full second without a tune is fairly impressive. I have been in the race seen for several years and see people spend thousands of dollars to gain a tenth or two. I will agree the price is too high and buying an Express to do mods to would be more fun but this is a nice truck for the right deep pocketed person. I think they should look at just making the 392 an RT option for another $1500 - $2000....
