How to de-badge my truck?
I have 2011 ram sport/White. I'd like to de-badge it. my concern is how much body work will be involved after i remove emblems?

Nothing haha its so simple, since you have a new truck it will be extremely easy, just take some fishing line and slide back and forth between the letters and the double sided tape ( make sure not to touch the paint, then pull the tape BACKWARDS while lifting up at 45 degree angle, take some Goof-off, rub it on lightly till excess glue comes off (not to hard or you could damage the paint) wash it off with water and bam, done

can also put a little heat to it makes it easier to cut through the tape... any decent citrus based cleaner will do a good job at removing the excess adhesive left behind... they make plastic razor blades you may be able to find at the hardware store or your local sign shop

I never used the fishing line trick but used some bug and tar remover. The trick is trying to remove the double sided sticky tape. I used a plastic knife compliments of a three year old (with the rounded edge of course) and a little elbow grease. Buffed it out like it was never there, wished they had this site back in '03 when I did on my last Ram. Many new ideals from knowledgeable people!!

I've been using the fishing line for years now. I used it at the scrap yards for emblems, vent shades and just about anything with double stick tape.

People seem amazed at some of the stuff we learn in those places to do things quicker.

Like the 3 sided clips on an E brake cable retaining clip. Slide a 13mm box end wrench on there and it pushes all the clips in and the thing just pops out
