Greetings!

Hi Everyone,

Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Carson Schalk. I'm going into my senior year of high school at Wootton in Rockville, MD. I'm a huge fan of cars and until recently, trucks. My dad and I are two proud owners of a 2005 Ram 1500 Laramie that already has a few upgrades to it including exhaust and a tonneau cover. It's the family's first pickup and it's great for just about anything; lugging stuff around, cruising and going offroad! I'm really anxious to make some major modifications to the truck sometime in the near future.. but of course, the only thing standing in the way is money. I have a summer job in ocean city and i'm now looking for one at home in rockville. After saving up enough money, I plan on putting a new set of wheels/tires on it, lifting it a tad and doing some other dress up things. It's already a great truck as is, but there's so much more to be done! If you have any advice for me, maybe something I can do thats quick and easy.. it'd be greatly appreciated to hear from you! Thanks and looking forward to meeting a bunch of Ram Crazies!!

Welcome to the forum! (nice truck pose)

Here's an index page that might help navigate the site http://www.ramforumz.com/index.php

It's the one I use to move around and the one I have saved.

Glad to see that you wound up on the Z. There are different sections of the forum set up specific to the generations if you need help in the future. It's also a great place to just hang around. General Discussions and I've heard of an "off Topic" section.

Not to forget the vendors that can help with any modifications you might like to personalize your vehicle.

Take some time and brows the site, maybe even make a few friends!

Newbie how tos is always a good idea. It might help to familiarize yourself with how-to's on using the site and is a good reference tool for the future. One of the most underused aspects is reputation. It's used to say thanks to a member that may have helped, or pointed you in the right direction.

The little scales of justice in the upper-right hand corner of their reply has it. Just click on it and add to their reputation.

Also try to remember posting if you have an issue with your Ram and solve it. That also helps other members solve their issues.

Since you're new, why don't you put yourself on the map? http://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=156146 Click on Additions and add yourself.

Enjoy the site!
