chip/programmer real MPG difference?

I was wondering if anybody has really noticed a difference in mpgs with a chip or by programming their truck? I have a 96 1500 with the 5.2L and just got dual magnaflows

so far no. just installed it last week. old lady drove the truck to work, mostly highway and she was getting 14 MPG's which is bad for highway driving. i did try the 87 tune (superchips) and noticed a bit of a difference in power though but the MPG saver tune hasnt done its job. though, the truck was bought recently and i dont know what kind of maintenance was done so i could possibly need an o2 sensor as she has 157K miles on her

I haven't worked out mine yet. I got a superchips programmer off a co-worker, set the 87 tune and I went a little further on fuel.

I don't know what's availible for a 96...but I have picked up about 1 mpg city and over 2 mpg highway.

I run a SCT I bought from Hemifever.
