Wanting to but not sure

I just got off the phone with a local muffler shop and he advised against changing my Y-pipe. He thinks the current/factory will last much longer. Any validity to this?

Also, I've looked at and heard probably 20 different clips on exhausts and I'm sold on the Magnaflow. But what I'm not sure about is what's the real difference between the lengths? (Sorry I'm technically challenged on some things).

Are you talking about just the muffler? If so the 22" 18" and 14" are basically the loudness 22 being the quietest and 14" being loudest. I have the magnaflow mufflex DOD18 on mine and LOVE it! 22 is basically stock. Hope that helped?

It did. Thanks! I ordered the magnaflow 22" with the Y-Pipe for $580. Now I have to find a good site to get the S&B Cold Air Intake. I'd like to have them installed at the same time.
