DDIN install question...

I just ordered a new Pioneer AVHP8400BH head unit for my 2010 Big Horn. Other then the PAC wire harness and dash install kit, what else do I need? Do I need a separate harness to keep the steering wheel controls? Also, where is a good place, other than going to BestBuy, to get them?

I recently installed the AVH4400BH in my 2012. Besides the PAC harness you will need the additional connection of something like the AXXESS Interface to keep steering wheel controls. It is a simple install. PAC also makes one Ibelive, but I can only speak for the AXXESS I installed. I bought from Amazon.

Does the PAC harness keep the stock satellite antenna or is the aftermarket units that have NAV and satellite have their own antennas?

The stock NAV antenna is retained.

Has anyone been able to retain their Sirius XM? I have an adapter for regular Antenna but my Sirius/XM won't work...

You do need two differnet adapters to retain Sirius with this radio.... You need the interface module from Pioneer as well as a tuner from Sirius. Will run you about $120 for the both of them, I decided to just cancel my service. I wasnt even that big on paying for Sirius to begin with being that I only listen to a couple channels, let alone an extra $120 just to keep it

Ah well then I'll just let the Dealership subscription run out lol I only listened to a few stations as well, I got better things to invest that money on lol
