car got egged

well my girlfriend left my house at 4 this morning to find eggs on her car....she rinsed whatever she could see off but said the water pressure wouldnt remove it, meaning it must of been there for an hour or so...she scrubbed it off but my concern is, will her paint be damaged or hurt in anyway? i looked in the street and it looked like only 2 eggs as i looked for shells. none of my neighbors or my truck were hit...maybe someone who knows her did it??

Hmmmm, does she have a psychotic ex?

i hope so bro...i already tore her car up this weekend at schlitterbahn...18 wheeler tire blew and i ran over it at 80 mph and ripped the wheel well out

At least it was at night so it didn't bake on. the best you can do is wash and wax the area and see how it turns out :(

I had bird poo totally etch my paint once. That sucks. but really your best defense is a good sealant or at least wax job so it was kinda my lack of maintenance

I hate to say this...really hate to say this...but 99.9% of the cars that I've had to work on (slashed tires etc...) that belong to a female have been vandalized by another female...for suspicions or reasons that one female would do it to another female...

il def wash and wax then, thanks bikenut. on my old truck i spit a luggie or whatever out and it landed on my truck and it stuck there for the remainder of the time i had the truck! crazy huh...

warlock, hmm im not offended or anything...another woman huh...i cant say that another would be after her or any reason (me having a mistress, no)

I hope it comes out well Black, But you used the word Mistress. Man I gotta say that is not a word I have heard in awhile, especially from someone so young. :)
I am guessing it was probably random kids egging since you have none of the usual suspects.
I know where your coming from on that boyfriend thing, I have been with my wife 18 years, my ex before her however had a doomoss for a boyfriend and it took a bad turn for him when we met up, he did not fare well, and he disappeared for awhile to mend up. :) Sometimes a sound spanking works well for those returning exes. :)

Our cars get egged every couple months, it always just hoses off and never any damage. It doesn't bake in the sun at night so I think that helps. Plus there's about 1/8" of dirt on the paint since we never wash our cars so I don't think it ever even reaches the paint haha.

Stupid kids driving around just damaging others property is the culprit here, happens to the neighbors as well, and in previous neighborhoods we've lived at in the area. Always happens when parked in the street, never when parked in the driveway, they are too chicken shit to even stop the car they have to keep rolling...

If I can ever figure out who is doing it I'll wait for them to go on vacation then put bologna all over their car, let it dry on there for a good few days, turn their car into a pok-a-dot paint job.
