I only did red cause I had 2 cans of it leftover from when I did my Civic a few years ago. I used one can, saved one for touch ups in the future!:smileup:

have fun in about 2 months when they start flaking i tried vht and the hest stuff and caliper paint they all chip got me some covers instead

i have been using vht for 5 different vehicles. never had any issues...

Looks great...hopefully you don't have any problems. Mine are holding up as well with no chipping.

Looks great, good job there. I just touch mine up to keep them looking great. The little chips from time to time are no big problem. Much prefer painted calipers to rusted ones. :smileup:

Fantastic work and it looks great. Many people that have spent alot of time doing/researching brake caliper painting will tell ya that prep is what makes it a pleasureable experience all around. Good luck showing them off!

LOL, the old truck was in the parking lot at my apartment. This one was taken with the truck on a lift at my shop.

I just cleaned them real good. I didn't have any primer, the can said none was nessecary, but using VHT primer was optional. At $12 a can, I chose to risk it.
