Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust

My next purchase is going to be an exhaust, I see people saying they bought magnaflow Y pipes. Is this needed if i do a full cat back system?

Here is the exhaust i was thinking about buying.

I would say it is needed even if you only did a muffler. The factory Y is extremely restrictive. You wont see the full benefit of the cat back without a freer flowing Y.

Cool thanks. Is there any headers out that are confirmed to work with a 4x4?

Not sure about the '12. I have an '06 and just ordered a set of ARH stainless long tubes with high flow cats and a Magnaflow muffler.

Just went and looked they have them for '09 & up. I mentioned the forum and they took a little $ off.
