MPG: 4x2 compared to 4x4

People on this forum are reporting 25 mpg (highway) in their 5.7L RCSB 4x2 with 3.55 gears. Anybody know what the exact same truck in a 4x4 would get? Aren't 4x4s worse on fuel consumption even when driving in 2wd mode?

How are you getting that?? I have a 2003 5.7 rcsb and I can get the at like 55-60mph, but at 70mph I get like 15-16mpg

I have an 09 1500 Hemi quad-cab (not mega cab) 4x4 with 3.55 gears and get 21-23 going 55 mph and 19-20 going 65-70 mph. Both have been hand calculated, but my EVIC usually isn't off by too much. I live in central Illinois so it is very flat farm land. I also use the cruise as much as possible.

The only mods I have is a 18" Magnaflow, corrected Y-pipe, and home made cold air intake.
