Gap under the tailgate

:Hey:Hello all...(my first post, so be gentle)

Just bought a 2012 Ram SLT with the Big Horn package...(still learning what that really means...)

I've added nerf bars, an OEM trailer break kit, and "custom mud flaps"... so far...

Here's my question... the gap between the tailgate and the bumper seems to be a bit wide... I understand why...but wonder if there is any MOD that fills that gap with something that makes it appear narrower... (or cleaner/more finished)

I've been kicking around the idea of some sort of rubber seal (not to seal it completely, just make it look nicer)

Is there already anything available to do this?

Just curious...

Thanks,

Tim

go to Autoanything and pick up the tailgate rubber seal, I picked it up for my truck cause on dirt and gravel roads the dust would go into the box and get on all my tools. The one I got was by Extang

yup, the light bar goes under the tailgate and above the bumper, the seal goes around the interior box itself.

Thanks guys... ordered up one of the bed seals you were talking about.

I knew there had to be a solution out there!
