2008 intake manifold swap questions

I have an 07 4.7 and ive already got my 08 intake manifold. Im well aware that i am going to need the adapters. My concern is there are a couple extra vacuum ports on the intake manifold that my truck don't have. Does anyone that has done the swap with a 06 or 07 4.7 to the 08 intake have any input or suggestions. Im thinking maybe cut the nipples off thread a bolt in and maybe some epoxy or jb weld?

I'm not sure but I wouldn't cut/jb weld anything ghetto it'll cause issues down the road. Just put a plug over any unused ports.

Well i didn't want to go the jb weld route just didn't know what i could use that wouldn't cause a vacuum leak.

What type of plug are you talking about considering its plastic.

If there is a nipple sticking out and it's unused, just get some of those rubber caps(autozone has them I think), they just slip over top snug and stay in place. After like 10 years it'll dry rot and need replaced....

Hard to see but look on the right side of my airaid intake tube, close to the TB, there's a nipple off the airaid tube and I have a rubber cap over it:

So i found the plugs and they work perfect. I was told i have to switch my 07 egr valve to an 08 not sure if i need to or not but they are different part numbers but look the same.
