My stable is in a state of flex. The last time I was on I had just picked up a 1979 D100 adventure. A guy who was looking at the 79 when I got it found where I live and came over and made an offer I didn't refuce. While he was here he saw the 1972 he asked if it was for sale and I gave him the age old answer d b s i t w? otherwise if the price is right. He called a friend who was looking for one and hour later that one was gone also. I have a friend looking for another one for me. He thinks he has a lead on a nice one. But no details as of yet. My wife has given up.This is in only two weeks.
They went so fast I wonder if I didn't aske enough for them.
I've had one offer on my 82 in the three weeks sence I broght it home. Nice thing is he's full of isht and not really serious. Besides that I'm not giveing it up.
I'm negotationing on a 1989 1500 with 5.2 AND IS PRETTY RUST FREE for a Maine truck All the problem areas like brakes lines and fuel lines trans flushed and fluids in diferentials have been changed. new belts and minor rust areas are being taken care of as we right. floors and corners and floors are nice. If this works out I won't let this one go anywhere. I just about have the Boss plow on my 92 and the sport is our sweet heart.
