Add factory dimming review mirror

I want to add the auto dimming mirror that comes on the trucks. I find it funny that my Big Horn did not come with it. Thoughts on how to add it?

The main reason I want this is for the dimming and (correct me if I am wrong) but isnt the uconnect mic int he mirror? I plan on adding the uconnect this week to my RBZ

The mirror does come with the mic, but you'd have to make an adaptor harness to plug into the Uconnect module. To be honest, you'd be much better off using the external mic that comes in the 82212159 Mopar kit. You'd want to install it on the drivers "A" trim panel near the visor. The mirror mic picks up a lot of road noise as well as the defroster air rushing up the windshield.
If this was me, I'd get a universal dimming mirror (it takes12 volts accessory power, ground and a reverse power connection) very simple install. Use the mic that comes in the kit.

What if I install the mic in the overhead console where the in cabin temperature piece would be or where the sun roof controls would be?

That should be ok. You want it to be close to your speaking zone.
