Finally...A Recall for the rear diff pinion nut!

I had this sent to my email. Don't think mine is affected since my build date was 1/2010. Has anyones pinion nut come loose out of this build cycle (July 1, 2009 to November 30, 2009)?

Fantastic. A big issue that is finally getting taken care of. Going to walk outside and have a look at my build date just because I'm curious...

Edit: My build date is 07/09. Hmm...

Glad this is finally being taken care of. I can rest a bit easier now since my Build date was March 19 2010. I checked and there is no recall listed against my VIN for this issue. You guys with that build date range should see it come up when checked against your VINs. Here is the link to check. https://www.moparownercenter.com/oc/...nersLogin.aspx

Do not take this lightly. There is not much of a warning before it happens. I think the recall is to little to late. Especially since I am stuck with paying for a rental vehicle.

:4-dontknow: Don't know if it's on the site yet, would be good to know if those that fall in the build range for this recall show up on that site when their VIN is entered.

so i checked my build date. 05-10 so i guess im outside of the recall. and i never hit on the recall when i entered my VIN.

hopefully they put in this pinion nut retainer when they replaced my rear end...
