New updated plate for TLC system

I installed my TLC system on my 2011 sport two weeks ago and everything went very smooth, easy install. I installed the updated top plate TLC sent me instead of the original that came with kit. My only concern is the new plate doesnt match up to the bump stop like it should and the air bags on both sides do not sit level. I am afraid of damaging the airbag so I have replaced these new plates with the origial top mount plates that came with the kit. I know I had them installed correctly but the slot on top of plate never would seat into the bump stop location. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem. Side note, I also installed the wireless one kit and man this makes it simple to pump up or deflate airbags.

I installed the updated top plate, and I have no issues, it fits right in the hole its supposed to. I am wondering, did you install them backwards? I only ask because I did that the first time. They might have to be turned around.

so i also got the top plate, but not sure I follow how that metal piece that sticks up is going to go into the bump stop hole? anyone got a good picture of how this is supposed to look, the directions had a tiny picture....any insight is appreciated.

Here is a video of a my total load control install. at the end of the video you will see my updated top plates and that they do indeed fit into the bumpstop holes. Looking at your axle from the rear, the plates must be installed like so:

Drivers Side Passenger Side

______l__ Differential __l______

EDIT: Found a pic of what its NOT supposed to look like. If your plate is in place like this, flip it 180 degrees so the "tab" that sticks up is lined up with the bumpstop hole.

If that's the pic of what it's not supposed to look like then you should fix your drawing cuz it's wrong as well....

__!______diff_____!__ that works better when installing......

also you guys have to do something about the driver side that hits the spring, most guys won't have the tool to get the suspension to fully hang in order to move the spring, just my advice as I find that piece a real pain, other then that it's a nice setup.

Yes the pic is what its not supposed to look like, i just put my diagram up backwards like a knucklehead. Mine are installed the way you descibe above and work perfectly!

As for the spring rubbing, you dont need to compress the spring. Simply jack up the truck by the frame (not the axle) so the spring unloads. Once the tire is off the ground, the spring is unloaded enough you can grab it and rotate it.
