Fellow Ram owners - Ned Help!

Good day every one,

I havea a 2008 dodge ram 1500 with the 4.7L V8 ( this engine is different from the 2007) with the Getrag G238 manual transmission. My problem lies in trying to replace the clutch.
I am trying to put a center force clutch in my truck however with discussions with center force and numerous performance shops, no one is listening parts for this truck. He said that the clutch kits for several years have all been quite close in spec however could not confirm or deny if they fit or not.
I'm turning to you guys to see if anyone has had the same issue or ideally the same truck and has done this work on their own vehicle?

Thanks a lot guys (and gals if any) and I look forward to your responses.

Do the clutches for both years have the same part number?

Edit: Nevermind I looked myself, they have different part numbers in the parts books

There's a guy on dodgetalk who's on his third clutch, he's run into the same issue as you every time. Your stuck picking up an oem clutch. I'm no where near needing a clutch yet (knock on wood...), so I haven't had to really look into this one for myself, but I'm pretty sure that's your only option at this point. I really doubt the clutch changed from 2007 to 08, so the center force will probably work. I sure as hell wouldn't want to be the guinea pig for that one though. You gonna tackle this on your own?
