Stereo replacement question - 98 truck

Hi guys

I have a 98/98 Ram and aim to replace the factory head unit with my single din, motorized dvd. I'm in the UK and can only find single Din facia conversions for the 02 on shape, can anyone point me in the right direction, preferably UK but will consider US as getting desperate now :-)

My current stereo is like this (does anyone know if this one would have the standard speakers or the amplified ones, not sure what's classed as a premium system)

Thanks

I would check out crutchfield (sorry it is in the united states though). They will tell you exactly what you will need to fit your truck. Here is a link to it http://www.crutchfield.com/S-Vwbv4RuqW5F/ Go down to the bottom of page where is says outfit my car and put in your info

If you have primium sound sys from factory there will be a infinity logo on face of the head unit and a grafic eq as well. That sys also will have amps for speakers. And your best bet for a seamless install is get the wire kit for the truck. That's what I did for mine when I took out the factory tape deck. I went with a sony Xplode bt 2500 it took 30 min to install. Also be carfull with bezel they tend to be brittle and crack easaly. I started on right side of dash close to storage pocket and carefuly pulled clips from there.
