sono- Awesome, Awesome!! I don't come into this sub very often, but just saw this and, what a cool post. Can't believe no one else responded. I go to see my grandfathers' grave once or twice a year (U.S.M.C. WWII) Respect indeed.

I like to go to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary, its located in Jefferson Barracks National Park here ( Has a shooting range for guns and bows ) lots of meat shoots.
They have a Pow Wow every year but Ive only made it to one so far. I visit my grandfathers grave every now and then, he passed 3 months before I turned 2 and 2 months before my sister was born so she never got to see him. I have old 8mm films my dad took of my grandpa with me, he was a jolly old soul, wish I could have grew up with him....although I did spend alot of time with my Grandma till she passed in 1990, such peaceful and wonderful personalities. My Grandmother was the hub of the family, when she passed everyone moved away or cut ties. no more giant family reunions...ect...
I remember having hundreds of people over for birthday parties, shit I cant get but my parents and daughter to show for my son's birthday which is sad, oh well less money on crap and more money for
Speaking of Birthdays, I turn 45 on the 14th and my son turns 3 on the 27th of May.

I must say, those are beautiful photos, and a very touching tribute to those who have passed. :)
