3rd gen cai interest?
hey guys, i'm currently talking to a potential mfg about a cai that resembles the old ramhammer I'm running... the reason I looked into this was because we can't find anyone making this design anymore unless you have an lx platform car... I'm just gauging interest at this point for the 3rd gen's.. it will be similar to this..

HEMI owners should be all over this, nice going Fred!!!!!!!!! Great idea..... Can something like this be done for my SRT-10?????????

I guess it would depend on the price, but I would definitely try to get my hands on one

yea fred, price to me is main concern. as your truck is one of the fastest, im sure people will chime in saying its not a "cold" air as it just sits in the engine bay but youre to prove them wrong

I have one of these on my truck (a BFI) and I can tell you that this design works. Just swapping out my old Airaid for the BFI made a very noticable difference. I can only imagine how much difference it would make going from stock to an intake like this. Well worth the money.

yea..checking into it now..the initial tooling is at 4k now so we'll see as I wanna know what the production run will be..

Interested as well, but like other depends on price. Ive really got my eye on an S&B so it would half to be considerably cheaper for me to switch.

chefred112 11-07-2012 03:05 PM

this isn't the 'cheap' alternative..the s&b doesn't hold a candle performancewise to this design..

can someone explain the "design" and why it's so much better? thanks!
