Newbie to Trucks with exhaust Q

 Let me first of say that I'm new to the truck world - I've been in the muscle car scene (10 dodge Challenger which is finally done) now its time to upgrade the truck.

I have a 12 Ram 1500 5.7 laramie with a Volant Intake, F1 bed cover. Now i've done my research and think I've narrowed down my choice to Corsa DB exhaust (I got a Corsa on my chally). My buddy got a '10 Ram 1500 with the corsa exhaust (But still has the OEM Y pipe) and there is little to no drone but My Question comes is I see people putting in new Y Pipes with their magnaflow 16869.

Do I need a Y Pipe with the Corsa exhaust ? :4-dontknow:

Thanks for all your help

replacing the stock Y pipe is never a bad idea. If you look at our y pipes it looks like a monkey put them together. They are just crushed together instead of a nice y pipe

I am not knowledgeable on the corsa exhausts, but I would say yes use the magnaflow one. See it is the same size as your stock on, it just a much better build quality
