4hi shudder
ok im trying to figure out why some rams get the shudder leveled and non leveled and some dont. so this is what im requesting from people maybe we can finally figure this out. i would like you to post the make, model, year and leveled or non leveled and do you get the 4hi shudder. also the gear ratio you have and if you have st, slt, trx4, sport, etc etc, and mileage.

2010 Ram 1500 SLT BigHorn 17,860 Miles
6" BDS Lift,Bilsteins set at 2.8,RCX 1.25" Body

No shutter here.

TRX are taller so when you add a spacer leveling kit they will shutter do to the high angles of the cv's.

when you get the shutter
are you in 4 wheel drive on a hard surface
or 2 wheel drive while on a hard surface

4 wheel drive should only be used while driving on a surface that is movable, like dirt, snow, ice, etc

I have a 2010 sport with 3.55s and 2.5 hbs level kit . It's shudders in 4hi under moderate acceleration. It didn't do it stock, I'm not removing the level kit because I love the look of the truck with it , and you can fit 35s

even under light accel it shudders. but i think i have a bad cv axle on my driver side front

I have the 2010 TRX4 with 2.5" of lift (Ready-lift) and 35" tires and I have a mild shudder when in 4Hi at low speed. Pretty bad shudder under rapid acceleration at low speed. It goes away when I start rolling faster. Wish the Core CV joints weren't so pricey.

We need something similar to this designed for our trucks. I had the same issue on my car when changing height and these corrected it. These go between the axle and the diff on my car so that the CV's are fully seated in the buckets by correcting the length of the axle. Probably similar issue on our trucks. When we raise it the axle becomes too short and the CV's begin to separate from the buckets and gives the vibration...
