ive completed most of what i want to do on my truck (for now) and everything thats been dont has been done with my hand and my hands alone and not ive hit a dead end on finding info. since the tires stick out past the body about 3/4" and soon to be a full inch once i put the 1/4" spacers on i want to get fender flares i dont want the pocket styel, i dont think my truck is big enough to suit my truck. so i want the stock is look like these

my question for this: is the 2500&3500 fender flare the same as the 1500 keep in mind that its the sport one pice bumper.

the only othe dilemma i have that i cant find anywhere is i want a prerunner style light bar bush guard while keeping my stock bumper i just cant find one that fits the sport one pice bumper can anyone help me?

bump / Some info on installing a Y pipe one the 2011 hemi?

4x4Hemi 11-17-2012 01:31 PM

the 2500 would be better i beliee, since they go down further, the 1500 ones end at the headlight. but they will both fit, same bolts and all.

btw check into getting some OEM take offs on craigslist. i scored some color matched OEMs for $100, cant beat that

seandanger 11-17-2012 01:33 PM

yeah you cant beat that i think black is a little easier to find them red though haha

4x4Hemi 11-17-2012 01:38 PM

haha always worth a try man! cant hurt to check kijiji!

i would call BUSHWACKER about the fender flares
i really like their product
tell them which bumper you have & they will tell if they make an Extend a Fender for your Ram

With the brush guard, i think you will find that the insert where the tow hooks would go, you will have to cut out the places where the hooks would go & then trim or remove the black plastic piece just below the bumper

chances are you will end up having to get the flares painted

i have the flat flares from Bushwacker, they came with ends for both bumper types

yeah im pretty sure i have to cut where the hooks would go. its not that i dont know where i would attach them i simply cant find one for the sport plastic bumper. thats the issue. as far as the fenders go im going to try n find stock ones off a truck that are painted so a can save some coin.

any help with the 2011 hemi Y pipe?

Reverse!
Those with sports bumpers want/should go with the 2500 flares as they stop at the headlight.
The 1500 flares stop where the chrome bumper meets on those with, well chrome bumpers.

I'd watch out for them as they appear on ebay and jump on them.
Or grab the cheapest one they have and paint it
