WeatherTech Mud Flaps - 13,000Km Report
Well, I took the time to remove my mud flaps and inspect them. For those wondering about scuffing, etc. you have a valid concern. There is some scuffing so you would be wise to put down some 3M tape. The worst is the front. The rear was very minimal. Not that big of a deal for me since you can't see the scuffs with the flaps on. Overall I am very pleased with these mud flaps. They still look great. No fading or cracking, still very solid.
After cleanup (you can see the damage, scuffs and pits in the plastic)
After reinstall (can't see the scuffs, looks great)
ill bet i have the same issues with my mopars...i thought about putting some of the 3m tape on there first and never got around to it. i have a couple cc's of Opti-coat left...maybe ill take em off, opticoat, then hit the 3m tape...
thanks for the tip!
