Magnaflow 14" dumped?

Does anyone have their 14" Magnaflow dumped off behind the cab?

I'm going to be getting a roll pan and won't have exhaust cut outs to run it out the back.

got mine dumped after the cab. wayyyy better than my flow master, there is still drone and all with the stupid MDS but when its in all 8, its nothing

Does it sound any louder than running out of the back? I haven't heard a 4th gen with dimoed exhaust yet.

BlackHemI 11-21-2012 12:47 PM

running out the back makes it more mellow, where as dumped its more aggressive as it ricochets off the ground. the 4th gens arent dumped because then your bumper has those grooves in the bumper with no pipes lol. if i were to do it on a 4th, id have it out the back only because the bumper.

Yea that was my thinking too. I have mine out the back but someone rear ende my truck and didnt tell me. So... Going with a roll pan with no cutouts.

oh dang man sucks...yea my bumper is messed up from me jack knifing my trailer lol. if thats your case then hell yea dump it, i love the look of no exhaust. where in texas are you?

I have 14" Maggy Dumped in front of rear bumper. Very good sound, but when I want it to really be loud I hit a switch and open my e-cutout that is right behind the Magnaflow y-pipe.

I've never heard that before. I had the y-pipe put in at the same time as the rest of my new exhaust system which was done when I had my cam and tune done. Runs great!

...A friendly word of advice... DO NOT EVER USE the gaskets that come with your headers. in the last couple of weaks I have replaced the header gaskets with factory mopar exhaust manifold gaskets. In a period of about 2-3 years the header gaskets had both failed. horrible exhaust leaks. the passenger side was not too bad. changed myself in a little over an hour. The drivers side was a PIA to do and took me some 4 hours to do. That side was awfull.

But everything is all sealed up now and sounds awesome....
