Plenty of people, they usually have slicks and big torque, but it's not that uncommon at the track. There have been several thousand people who have done this very thing before ending up into a walk, normally they just come down with the wheel slightly skewed and that's all she wrote.

They started a "Supercar SHowdown" class in the series we run this past year. They all leave like that...this guy just had a bad day. Wheelie bars aren't allowed in that class. We can't run them in X275 either...dragging the back bumper is a regular occurrence....you just hope it comes down soft enough to not bash the headers or oilpan. You can here him pedaling it in the video....cranking the wheel is what got him though. There's a reason most people put a ring of bright tape at 12 o'clock on the steering wheel.

Wow the other guy was luckily back enough to see this happening and backed off the gas.

Wow, seriously that other guy dodged a bullet.
