Removing dealership decal...recommendations

Hey everyone I jut recently bought my truck about a month ago and had some trouble with the dealership and wouldn't recommend anyone else to go there and therefore I'm trying to figure out how to remove the dealership decal on my truck. Has anyone done this before or has any recommendations on how to do so?

Heat with a hairdryer and peel off gently. Then remove any sticky residue with goo gone or the like.
For a dealer badge, as opposed to a decal, insert fishing line or dental floss behind the badge after heating.

you could use a hair dryer, just don't get caught by your Grandmother, Mother, Wife, Daughter, or G/F. They may not appreciate it

I'd have the dealership remove it, as you didn't want it.

My dad bought a new car a long time ago and they put stickers on it and he told them to remove the stickers and they said "seriously!?!?" and he said yes and if you damage the paint you will replace the panel.

I would tell them to remove it or start paying you for the advertising

they didn't put decals on mine
the license plate holders & mud flaps had the dealerships name all over them
i got rid of them soon after purchase

+3 , unless I'm very happy with the dealer and I want to give them free advertising on my vehicle.
