ADV.1's new 2 piece wheel line....stunning

Been talking to these guys for about a week now. HRE acted like it was blasphemous to put their wheels on a truck...screw em. This is from ADV.1's new 2 piece wheel line....I'm blown away. Couldn't get a 1 piece wheel due to size constraints with different mfg's even though I love how the spokes extend all the way out on the monoblock wheels. Wasn't 100% sold on 3 piece wheels cause they make the centers look so small....then ADV.1 drops this 2 piece bomb on me. The look of both wheel styles all rolled into 1. Working on pricing now in gunmetal powdercoat with titanium fastners. http://evs.smugmug.com/ADV1-Wheels/A...SC_5377-XL.jpg

My only worry would be how little material there is supporting the vehicle weight on the outer rim, those are VERY small spokes to be putting on a truck, but I do like the sunken one piece center hub.

They spec just fine load wise....I've been talking to them a lot and the truck's weight was my main concern. It's a forged wheel also....not a cheap cast part. You get a lot more strength with less material.

I bet they will look great on your truck.

Sounds like you did a lot of research on them ahead of time, and now that I know they're forged I'm a lot happier, I worry about stress fractures with any cast parts that see regular load cycles.

Yea...a cast wheel that minimal would scare the hell outta me. The thought of losing over 20lbs per corner though....that makes me smile.

And just what do those beauties run??

I honestly don't know yet. I'll have that info on Monday. They were gone for the day when I sent my last email with final specs I'd like. The 18" versions start at 1250 per....my best guess from shopping other wheels is probably 1600 per.
